Honda CR-V 2001 catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank 1 air leak near ho2s. Ignition system or catalytic converter?

CR-V 2001 has a catalyst system efficiency that is below threshold bank 1. The cause of it can be one of these things; air leak near ho2s bank 1; ignition system concern, or faulty catalytic converter. Is this a serious problem that I need to take care of right away?

We need the trouble code number to be of real help.

But, from the stand point of the HO2S sensor, if that is indeed the fault, then letting a bad HO2S sensor go and not repair the problem, can lead to a lean condition.
Lean conditions can lead to burnt valves, burnt pistons and overheating.
So it is often in your best interest to repair cat efficiency faults.

But......................
supply the trouble code and we can look more indepth into where the problem may be.
