marco666	How do I reset the 'Maintenance Required' light on a 2008 Toyota Tundra? I know the oil is good. Thanks much. I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra with only 6000 miles. I changed the oil and did not realize I need to reset the 'Maintenance Required' light. I am not sure how to do this and it is driving me insane:( Any help would be appreciated. I checked the owners manual and could not find anything. Thanks so much

TundraTalk lists the following 2 methods, supposedly one is in the Owners Manual as well.

First method:
1. Make sure when you turn off the engine the odometer is in the regular total mileage mode. Not "a" or "b"
2. Push and hold down the mileage reset button while turning the key to the on position. (keep holding it down)
3. You will see a count down of five lines go down to zero and it will reset.

The other method:
1. put the odometer in the A mode
2. hold the re-set button down with the key in the acc position and then turn the key to the on position while still holding the button down
3. after about 5 seconds the maint reqd light will go off.

As others stated, use the other method with the odometer in Trip A, ACC to on. it worked on my Tundra.

I want to thant you... Method 2 worked like a champ. Perfect timing considering it is time to smog the vehicle and any lights are an automatic fail. ALso there were no codes displayed with teh analyzer.
