    The piston has to be rotated back in....clockwise
    Autozone and most parts stores sell an inexpensive tool to assist with this.
    Take care that you do not damage or twist the boot.

    Some cars.like Jaguar ,left side turns counterclockwise,right side turns clockwise..
    Honda's usually turn clockwise,both sides

    The piston screws in clockwise.Most auto parts stores have a universal tool that will work on several different makes of automobiles. riceburner77
