How can I know why my tail and brake lights do not light on my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Tail and brake lights do not come on. signals and hazard lights do work. Headlights work as well.

First thing to check is the brake light switch mounted above the brake pedal. It may be out of adjustment or bad. You can try bypassing the switch, but it may actually be easier and cheaper to install a new switch.
