How can I find out if a specific car has anti lock brakes and passive restraints?

I am trying to figure out if some cars I am looking at have anti lock brakes and passive restraints. It is supposed to get me a better discount on my insurance, but they want to verify it - does the VIN # have certain codes to address this? How do they know?
