    Before you blame the pump, find the ground connection for the pump and clean it. If the pump still won't fire up, you'll have to replace it. There's no easy way to do that. You have to drain the tank and then drop the entire tank to get to the pump assembly. Not the news you wanted to hear, sorry.

    Sounds like the pump to me. Incidently, this pump uses the fuel in the tank as a cooling medium. If you are running your tank low, you are tempting the devil to do his worst.
