How current is the data for Edmunds used car values?
I would like to know what criteria is used in determining the current value on used cars? Market conditions, ect.

TMV info is "updated on a regular basis."Much of the process is confidential, but there's some info in How We Calculate Used TMV® Prices that may help answer some of your questions.A good crosscheck is skimming the Prices Paid board on CarSpace for the make/model you are interested in buying.
