    You're going to need a repair manual or a subscription to www.alldatadiy.com, because there are a lot of little important details in this job regarding checking gear clearances, aligning the oil pump rotors properly, a special tool to safely remove the oil pan, and careful instructions on applying gasket and gasket sealant.

    Also, you can't know if the oil pump is bad unless you measure it and inspect it, so you may find, with the repair manual, that you have another problem instead (loose oil pickup tube, clogged oil screen, or bad bearings).
