    What kind of noise? A wheel bearing is usually a ver low growling sound---a "ballsy rumble" if you will. If you're hearing high pitched noises or a siren-like noise, that's not a wheel bearing.


    Anyway, if you still think it's a wheel bearing---which wheel, front or back?

    It is the front and it is kind of a groul. any help would be great

    DHS or DTS?

    I think it is DHS. The car is new to me and I am not sure of the difference.
    The vin # has a Y in it and I think that means it is the DHS engin.

    It is the 4.6 L 32 Valve north star

    Wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement Front (FE1, FE3)

    Tools Required
    J 28733-B Front/Rear Spindle Remover


    Removal Procedure


    Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to
    Vehicle Lifting.
    Remove the tire and wheel.
    Insert a large flat bladed tool (1) into the
    caliper and rotor to prevent the rotor from
    turning.
    Remove the wheel drive shaft nut.
    Remove the rotor.


    Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor
    connector and unclip from the dust shield.
    Remove the wheel bearing and hub retaining
    bolts.

    Using J 28733-B special tool, separate
    the wheel bearing and hub from the drive
    axle.


    Remove the wheel bearing and hub and
    dust shield.


    Installation Procedure

    Important:
    Clean rust and foreign material from the
    knuckle mounting face, bore and chamfer
    to allow for proper seating of the bearing
    and knuckle.
    Do not handle the wheel bearing and hub
    by the ABS sensor wire.

    Install the dust shield, taking care not to
    damage the bearing outboard lip seal.
    Install the wheel bearing and hub to the
    drive axle. Apply a light coating of grease
    to the steering knuckle bore.
    Install the drive axle nut and draw wheel
    bearing and hub onto the axle.
    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service
    Precautions.

    Install the wheel bearing and hub mounting
    bolts.
    Tighten the wheel bearing and hub mounting
    bolts to 130 Nm (96 ft. lbs.) .

    Install the front wheel speed sensor
    connector and clip to the dust shield.
    Install the rotor.

    Insert a large, flat bladed tool (1) into the
    caliper and rotor to prevent the rotor from
    tuming.
    Tighten the wheel drive shaft nut to 160
    Nm (118 ft. lbs.) .
    Install the tire and wheel.
    Lower the vehicle.
