    the thermostat is at the bottem radiator hose at the engine. before you change thermostats, MAKE SURE YOUR COOLENT LEVEL IS FULL. Don't just go by the bottle, with the engine cool, take the radiator cap off and look down into the filler neck. If you do need a thermostat, the plastic housing is held on with two machine screws and is pretty easy to change, there is an air bleed in the thermostat had it has to be indexed with the housing, it will only go in one way. When refilling these are tricky so use the bleed on the upper radiator hose elbow on top of the engine, I put a petcock in mine. Run the engine with the heater on and make sure it is blowing hot as you fill the system. Let me know what you find with the coolent level.
