How many times per year is it recommended that I clean my leather seats?

I've had my Protege with leather seats for more than a year. During that time, I've never cleaned the seats and I don't think the previous owner did. I learnt recently about leather cleaners and conditioners.....I just bought some and I'm about to clean my seats. It would be interesting to know how often I should clean the leather. Once a year? Twice a year? What are the best times to clean? Thanks for the help!

How often to clean depends on your needs. I try to clean and condition mine every couple of months but there are some who do it more often and others who do it less frequently. I would think twice a year would be a minimum.

It is a good idea to park your car outside in warm weather or use the heater to warm up the leather before you work with it so the products can be absorbed easily. Some even like to heat the products in the microwave before using them.

Follow the directions on the product to clean and then condition the leather. Good luck!
