How to replace the hazard switch on a 2000 Chevy Impala.
I removed plates from under the dash,can't reach the in dash switch,instrument panel in the way,any sugestions?

The front of the dash must be removed in order to get to the hazard/turn signal switch, (not as hard as it sounds). remove fuse panels on both sides of dash. under each remove one screw. Remove two screws above instrument cluster. Unclip panel right above pedals. Remove two more screws. Dash panel should be ready to be removed, remove slowly it is secured by clips all the way across. Before you start, lower the steering wheel to the full down position and have the car's shift lever all the way down into low (I think). The hazard turn switch should be just right of the instrument cluster.
