chalupa168	How to reset the "Change Engine Oil" warning light on 2003 Chevy TrailBlazer? I recently changed engine oil and the oil filter myself on my 2003 TrailBlazer but within a couple of weeks, the "Change Engine Oil" light came up on the dashboard... I checked the oil level - it is still full. When I checked the digital read-out on the dashboard - it says "Engine Oil Life" is 0%. Does anyone know how to reset that reading after each oil change? I used to take my car to the dealship for oil change but they chaged $49.95 each time and I want to save some $$, especially in this economy... Thanks in advance for your help!

Turn the truck key to the on position. fully depress the accelerator pedal 3 times in 5 seconds. turn the ignition off. Restart. It may take several tries to get it done.

If you have a trailblazer with all the buttons on the steering wheel. You DO NOT reset the oil % with the three pedal push method. Instead you turn the switch to cranking position(two clicks) when you see the drivers display, depress button until you get to the oil% screen. Then depress and hold the "return" button it's the one that looks exactly like the symbol on the (enter) key of your computer. Voila! it resets back to 100% oil life!
