    Don't overlook the obvious, are you sure it has enough gas? By "the starter spins" does it sound normal, or like the starter isn't engaging with the engine? When you used jumper cables, did you connect the negative clamp to the Hyundai's engine block, not the battery (to bypass a weak ground)? The other car was running? Sorry to be so general, but there are a million things that could be causing this.... but my gut feeling is a dead battery and bad jumpstarting form. Could also be a bad fuse to the ignition or fuel pump, you can replace those with new bought at the walmart.
