Hyundai Elantra Warranty

I am really looking at buying a 2008 Hyundai Elantra, one reason being the great warranty, but recently I was told that if you do bring the car in for any repairs or maintenance under warranty that they will charge hundreds of dollars in "diagnostic checks". I was wondering if any seasoned hyundai owners have experienced anything like this?

Not according to any of th Elantra owners in the Hyundai Elantra Forums http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/direct/...

You should check to see if your area dealership has a good service reputation though. Locate your dealer here http://www.edmunds.com/dealerships/index... and see if they have been reviewed by other consumers on either sales or service.
