I have an 03 Chevy Trailblazer. The brake lights won't work. The light on top of the tailgate works.

I checked the fuses & bulbs everything is ok.

since the top brake lite doesn't flash when the turn signal is on, it is on a different circuit than the other two brake lights, so look for something common to them. They might even be on a different fuse. Could also be a broken wire or bad ground.
