I have a 1996 Chevy Corsica V6. The domelight stays on even when I close the doors.
The dome light stays on even after I close all the doors. Could you please tell me the location of the door switch? Thanks.

I don't know the Corsica specifically, but does your dome light have a switch on the light itself? Normally door switches are on the inside jambs, and are plunger type switches which pops out and makes a ground (negative) connection.

Some GM vehicles interior lights are designed to stay on for about 45 seconds after the door is closed. This is normal.
