    If the 4WD light on the dash does not come on it is either an electrical problem or the shift motor on the transfer case is not working. If the light comes on, and the truck isn't in 4x4 then it is a vacuum/hub problem. I suspect you have a bad transfer case control module. The TCCM is located above fuse panel, internal dash. Small medium blue plastic box, approx 4"x4"5" with large bundle of wires plugged into one side.
