I have a 2000 Volkswagen New Beetle (TDI). How do I change the headlight bulb?

I am not sure how to change the burned out lower headlight bulb. How do I gain access to the headlight compartment?

In Maintenance & Repair > Lights > Headlights
In Makes & Models > Volkswagen > New Beetle
