I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 v-10. Want to know what gas mileage is supposed to be. Mine gets 7.5-8 per gallon.

Never has gotten over 9 miles to gallon wondered if thats normal

In Makes & Models > Dodge > Ram Pickup 2500
In Maintenance & Repair > Fuel Efficiency (MPG)

I've seen road tests from 2003 that averaged about 8.2 to 10 mpg. Some owners claim up to 14 mpg but no details on how they drive, where they live, etc. So I'd say that worst would be about 7 mpg and best about 14 so that puts average at just over 10 mpg.

I only see one post in the Dodge Ram Real World MPG Numbers discussion at CarSpace where an owner is reporting his V10 mpg. That guy's rig was getting 10-12.
