The Hyundai Sonata Tires and Wheels discussion on CarSpace has owner reports.

Tire Rack is another good source of consumer reviews.

It really depends a lot on what you want in a tire. For a comfortable highway cruising tire, the Kumho Solus KH16 tire is a very good tire at a very reasonable price. For a sportier tire with better handling but a bit stiffer ride, I would go with either Yokohama Avid or Sumitomo HTR H4 tires. The www.tirerack.com site is a good one to use as they have extensive customer surveys and they do a lot of independent testing on the tires. They can ship the tires to a local installer in Houston and their prices are usually a lot better than local tire stores. Good luck and let us know if you have any follow up questions.

You didn't list what tire size, so by default my opinion is go with the the Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S. They're pricey, but you get what you pay for.
