I went 89 in a 65 on the New Jersey Turnpike. I was going with traffic, and I was the unlucky one. What can I get in a plea bargain?
This is my first time offense, and I was nice to the cop.

Pay your fine and slow down. If you try to get around it the judge may get ticked off and fine you even more. Don't risk it.

The NJ Turnpike is pretty notorious for cops. There's a 5 year old CarSpace discussion that started out talking about the Turnpike and tickets, and while it's not limited to NJ any more, the Turnpike continues to draw a lot of posts. So check it out - post #6 early on looks helpful about plea bargaining, but I didn't skim very much of the discussion. #657 looks like a good newer post.Insurance and NJ No-Point Ticket option
