I have a 94 Mercury Grand Marquis. The tail and dash lights quit working but the head lights and brake lights are fine.

My 94 Mercury Grand Marquis tail and dash lights just stopped working, thought it was a fuse since they are on the same circuit but no fix. It happened once before one evening but when I got out of the car and came back latter they worked fine then a few days latter they stopped working altogether. Fuse is good, bulbs are good, all other lights work fine.

I been having to drive to work with my emergency flashers on, which will get some people to get out of your way. But also draws attention to the popo. Could it be the light switch? Cause the head lights and running lights work fine even the delay switch works fine?

It's definately your head light switch all the lights connect into one plug there and if one connector is corroded or gotten hot and shorted out you can have an array of problems !! This problem is probably the same for many models of cars since they basicly all work the same way, hope this helps many people with light problems.
