I am looking to buy a pickup? What does 4x2 mean, pertaining to the 2 or 4 wheel drive?

I see pickups listed as being 2wd, 4wd, 4x4, 4x2 or no mention of drive which I assume means it is 2wd. I just need to know what 4x2 means..Thank you

4x2 is just another way of saying 2 wheel drive. It means a 4 wheeled vehicle, with 2 driven wheels.

When it does not say what the drive is, it is safe to assume that it is a 2wd vehicle. If you need any more help, please let me know.
