I want to change the plugs on a 1999 Lincoln Navigator. Are they located under the valve covers?

also when i find the plugs how can i tell if the coil packs over the plugs are ok.

In Vehicle Type > SUV
In Makes & Models > Lincoln > Navigator
In Maintenance & Repair > Electrical > Ignition

The plugs are located under the coil packs. So you remove the electrical connector, remove the bolt, remove the coil pak and then remove the spark plug.

You can't really test the coil packs without a diagostic machine and a schematic of the tests you have to perform. So you'd have to gear up for that test.
