I am looking for a engine repair manual for 2002 Subaru Impreza sti have tried booksforcars.com. please advise
I suspect the cly head on the left bank. It makes a loud taping noise while running.I have not worked on the "flat engines before" and would like some literature. I ordered a book from bookforcars.com and they are back ordered.please advise. thanks

You can try eBay http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll...or a subscription to Alldata http://www.alldatadiy.com/ for immediate online access.

You might find some more helpful links in the Online Repair Manuals Guide at CarSpace for that boxer engine (the Alldata link is in there, and it's a good resource for lots of stuff).

First off there was no USDM 2002 STi. So if you are looking for a manual you will have to look to Japan, Europe or Australia for a book on it. I'd start with some foreign websites to get the manual for an 02 STi. -mike
