Your tests so far have been very helpful in understanding this problem. I believe you'll find the problem is caused by a defective camshaft position sensor. This part generates the pulses which are used to trigger the fuel injectors. You can test this part by renting or buying an inexpensive tester called a 'noid light. This light should normally flash when connected to a fuel injector and the motor is cranked. If the light does not flash; the injector is not receiving trigger pulses.

Source: and if it is not receiving trigger pulses what should be the next step in fixing the problem

The way to fix the condition of no trigger pulses at the injectors is to replace the camshaft position sensor.
