mstaley	I have a 1999 300M. I need to add refrigerant to the air system. Where is the input valve? I would like to replace the refrigerant on my auto air system and do not have a book that tells me where the imput valve is located.

If you don't have experience and the right tools and gauges, this is not a job I would do myself. You can hurt yourself, the car and the environment. Have it done professionally, because they can "capture" the refrigerant when you vacate the system (which you must do) and also test for leaks, since you seem to have lost refrigerant in the first place.
