I have a 2002 S-10 and my parking lamps wont work, all bulbs and fuses are good. what do i do?

2002 S-10, parking lights will not come on. all the bulbs and fuses are new. the right turn signal will work, but the left one wont.

First off, you'll have to determine if current is getting to the parking light bulbs, using a test light. If you get current to the plugs themselves, then your problem is in the sockets or the bulbs.

If there is no current to the plugs, then things get hairy. Next stop for your test light is the output side of the fuse that controls the parking lights. If no current there, then go to the input side of the fuse box. If no current there, I'd suspect your stalk switch in the steering column or dash switch if that's what your car has.

So you start at the front and work your way back.
