I have a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LTC interior package with 2nd row captain chairs. Can a bench be placed instead?

Is it possible to replace the second row captains chairs in a 2007 tahoe with a bench seat

Yes, and if I were you I would go online to the Tahoe boards and offer a swap. I bet someone will jump at that exchange. Were mine not a 2004, I know I would!

In cases where options of this sort are offered, automakers try to position the mounting holes so they can be shared. They don't want to make two different floorpans if they don't have to. This isn't a lock, but it is very likely.

If you find a potential swap donor, peel back your carpet and theirs to make sure both trucks have the same holes in the same places.

But the carpet in your truck may have notches in it to fit around the captains chairs. Unbolt one seat to see what you'll be left with.
