I have a 2008 Ford Super Duty F-250 6.4 liter Powerstroke diesel. It makes a loud fan noise with no rpm race.?
The noise sounds as if it doesnt want to shift but it does. The rpm doesnt indicate that the engine is racing. The temperature is slightly elevated. It has only 13,000 miles. I recently had the oil changed. Oil level and transmission levels are normal.
