    Follow the top radiator hose back to the engine. Where it connects to the engine is the thermostat housing. Do yourself a favor and spend $20 on a Haynes manual as it will make doing your own repairs a lot easier. It pays for itself on the first repair!

    9 out of 10 times it is at the top rad hose but on the 07 G6 its at the end of the bottom rad hose you need to take the housing off around it to see it for whatever reason that model flowes backward

    That's correct! I forgot that the 3.5 GM V6 has the thermostat housing connected to the lower radiator hose! Good catch there.
