I inherited a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser and had the brake pads, rotors and calipers replaced. How do you work them on snow and ice?

No owners manual on how to work the brakes of PT Cruisers on snow and ice, they seem to just lock in the up position and slide, theres'no pumping or stepping on the brake hard, just sliding?

its sounds like you are saying that you apply the brakes on snow and ice and then, you start to slide, yes this is normal, you will slide on snow and ice.

Or maybe you mean something else, could you re-phrase the question ?
