I am trying to install a radio in a 2008 Hyundai Accent GS and need info to remove dash covers. Anyone know any posts/info.

Have a 2008 accent gs without radio and cannot find info about taking off the dash pieces arount the a/c vents to get to the wiring. Anyone know of any posts or have other info on doing this? I have heard that there are just a few clips holding them on but I cant see them. thanks, vince

There's some diagrams at http://www.hmaservice.com/. It's a site for Hyundai technical info and you have to register to get info.

I didn't look around much but there's info on removing the "crash pad lower panel" which looks like the left A/C vent cover. Looks like that piece is held on with one screw on the lower right hand side. The glove box may provide access on the right side of the dash.

But there are also some side covers on the dash that may be more what you need to remove to get access.
