I need to find the switched side of the parking brake, the side that becomes grounded when the brake is applied.
I bought a radio which has video. To view the video the car has to be in park. A wire needs to be connected to the parking brake circuit.

You need to connect that wire to the ground on the parking brake switch,,,why ?Just connect it to any ground point, the radio won't know what ground you connected the wire to.
