I want to purchase a factory navigation system for my Hyundai Santa Fe. What do I need to change out or can I even do this?

I want to purchase a factory navigation system for my 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe... and change it out with the regular factory radio. I was wondering if I could do this and if so... what parts do I need to be successful.

You'd have to go to your Hyundai dealer's service and parts department and see if the factory system is available and retrofittable to your model. Most likely, it is a simple operation to install but will be quite costly, as factory parts are not cheap. My own view is that a high quality GPS system from Garmin or Magellan is going to be a lot less expensive and actually have more features than the factory GPS system. It's also portable and can be used when you sell your car or go on a trip and want to use it in rental cars. Factory units tend to have fewer features and the software is not always the best.
