I replaced my battery however I still jump it everyday. RDO/Batt fuse was bad. Would this drain battery?

We replaced the battery and the negative terminal. We still have to jump start the car almost every other day and especailly when it is cold. We replaced the RDO Batt Fuse because it was bad. Do you think this could have been the problem?

Don't think so. You need to check for excessive battery drain by using a simple voltmeter.

Here's how to do it. See Page 15 and read it carefully.

Sounds like there's a large short somewhere. I'd go with mr shiftright's suggestion

try turning the car on and disconnecting the neg. battery cable. then if the car is still running turn everything on in the car(ac, lights, heater, ect. if the car starts to die or is allready dead you have a failing alternator. also we once again don't know what kind of car it is. try to POST: year. millage. make. model. engine.(if you do, people have a better chance of helping you because some cars are natorious for certain things) do you have a sterio? or a power amp that needs a capacitor or is drawing to much for the alternator to run the car and charge the battery. and when the battery does work how fast does the engine turn over when you try to start it.

I agree with MrShiftright and with all of the other suggestions about possible drains BUT I do not recommend running the vehicle with out the battery connected. I know that used to be done a lot back in my day also, but it can cause serious damage to the electrical system. I know, I'm going to hear that "I do it all the time and never had any problems" that maybe true but I can tell you that I've seen a few expensive examples of what can and does happen. I'm guilty of doing some danergous short cuts myself, but will not do this one anymore.
