Is the 2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid a 4WD or AWD?
I'm confused, edmunds says its AWD, toyota website it is AWD. Which is which?

The Hybrid model the electric motors to assist in powering the rear wheels. The system varies the rear torque as needed. It's touted as Electronic On-Demand 4WD. Whether they call it AWD or 4WD-i (that's what Toyota actually labels it), it's a full time system and completely automatic. -Brian
