Is one newer model year Honda Accord worth $1,300?

I have the opportunity to purchase a new 2008 Honda Accord EX-L V6 for extremely good closeout pricing of $24,915. I also found an amazing deal on a new 2009, same model, same trim, same engine. The dealership quoted me the price for a 4-cylinder but said it was for the V-6. When I inquired further, they realized their mistake, but management agreed to honor that pricing because I had it in writing. That price quoted is $26,201 (about $600 below invoice).

So, I now have to make the decision--buy the new '08, or the new '09 for $1300 more? How do I determine what the "real" value of one model year is worth (speculating on resale values, I assume)?

Thank you!

For the sole reason of depreciation, go for the 2009 if everything else is the same. However, don't be surprised if your amazing deal disappears. Dealers can promise and not deliver.
