    There's no mileage schedule for suspension components. You should get a second opinion from an independent mechanic. The reason why there is no mileage recommendation is that these components wear not as a function of miles, but on the quality of the roads on which you drive. They could wear out very quickly in areas where the potholes have potholes - like in the Northeast. If your drive was on perfect roads with no potholes ever, then you might be ok. But most prople drive on less well-maintained roads and they take a toll. This is a hidden tax on drivers when states cut back on road maintenence for budgetary reasons.
