Just purchased 1992 Toyota Pickup - oil light on.

seller told me it had a rebuilt engine in it. Took it in for a oil change, red oil light coming oil when it is at idle. Had oil pump and oil sending unit replace, fix it for 2 days and now light is back on, anyone have any ideas as to what may be wrong, I am lost!

Best thing you can do is screw in an analog test gauge right into the oil sensor fitting.

If the gauge reads very low in lbs, let's say under 5 lbs., then somebody screwed up the rebuild and you have too much clearance in the bearings-to-crankpin fit......or they just slapped new bearings onto a worn out crankshaft.

If the gauge reads high, then your pressure sending unit or your dash light is no good.
