    reddieddie, You have a SKIS (sentry key immobilizer system. Check fuse B(+) and fused ingnition switch, in the junction box. Check your battery voltage and the connections to and from battery. Use a DRB scan tool to diagnose (PCI) programmable communications interface data bus network is functioning. To reprogram new keys this tool is required if you don't have two functioning keys. Keys can be programmed only once. If it is determined that the key is at fault you can purchase a blank to program. To program a key you will also need a Diagnostic procedures Manual.
