Knocking noise in trunk.

Sometimes when I'm stopped there is a knocking noise coming from trunk area (I tease the kids telling them daddy wants out (LOL)). Does anyone know what might be the cause of the noise? Could it be the back springs? I notice that when going over speed bumps or up in driveways the back bounces a lot and makes a squeaking noise.

It knocks when you're stopped? That could be bad exhaust pipe or hangers. If it knocked while going over bumps, then it could be bushings, shock/strut mounts, that kind of thing.
