My 07 Chrysler Pacifica was stuck in park and the pink release lever didn't work. Any similar problems and solutions?

Everything was fine. Parked the car and when I returned the shift gear was stuck in park. Tried the release tab per the manual and it didn't work. Ended up towing the vehicle to the dealer. Waiting to hear the cost.

In Maintenance & Repair > Transmission > Shifting
In Makes & Models > Chrysler > Pacifica
