    Here's instructions on how to download an owner's manual. No idea if the manual tells you how to turn the security system off.

    An aftermarket security system would be simple to remove. You'll quickly recognize the wires that "don't belong" and any original vehicle wires that they cut to make the system work will need spliced back together.

    The factory system if you have that cannot be removed, it is integral to the cars computer system. You have no choice except for proper diagnostics and repairs.

    i know you posted this a long time a go but im haveing the same issue with my 2000 tahoe i thought it was fuel pump related but now seeing your post mine is the same way and i also have a after market security and remote start as well...did u look into fixing the issue or what and what did u do ...please send me feed back dont want too dump money in the wrong areas thanks
