I would clean check and tighten your battery ground cable on both ends.
Did it still dont work now when I tried to start just the click and maybe a 1/2 second try to turn then just click its sure got me confused guess maybe replace all cables
got it fixed even though the negative ground looked good it was not I put a second ground from the battery to the engine frame and car started kike a charm every try, thanks for your help
Glad you stuck with it! I thought that might be it because of your mentioning that the truck did start with jumper cables. This suggests that the jumper cable was acting as a so-so ground.
