My clutch will start to disengage on its own?

I cannot figure this out, I push the clutch in and put the car in 1st , and if I let it sit for a few seconds in gear with the clutch pressed in it will start to disengage without me letting the clutch out (this happens sometimes in 2nd and happens a lot in reverse as well).

I just put a new clutch kit in the car and it made no difference, it did this before I replaced the clutch and it does it the exact same now after. I bled the clutch as well and it made no difference (the fluid is pretty dirty but I don't think that would cause this problem).

Anyone have ANY idea what this is? Please help! Thanks!

if your car has a hydraulic assist clutch then yes, it just may be the cause of your problem. check the manufacturer's specs on fluid level and when it should be serviced. bring it to your local auto repair shop.

This problem would be caused by either a worn clutch master cylinder, or a worn clutch slave cylinder. If there is fluid leaking from the slave cylinder, I would replace it. If there is no fluid leak from the slave cylinder; I would replace the master cylinder. And in the unlikely event that replacing that one item doesn't fix the problem, I would then replace the other one. I would also recommend flushing all the old fluid out of the system, refilling with new fluid; and thoroughly bleeding the system. The best fluid to use for this purpose is Valvoline Syn Power synthetic brake fluid.

I hope this helps!!!
