tee32	Need help on a 97 Toyota Corolla with a 94 motor in it . OK I'm looking into buying a 97 Toyota Corolla. The man replaced the 97 motor with a 94 motor, same size. OK now here is the problem. It turns over but has no spark. they had a 97 distributor in a 94 motor. The 97 distributor has one plug the 94 has two plugs. They never did change the wiring from a 97 but it needs 94. OK so I sent him to the junk yard yesterday so he could get a distributor for a 94 and the two plugs that go into the distributor. now how can I make this thing work? What wires do I need to splice into to make this car get fire? Please someone get back with me. Thanks.

There were major changes in engine control electronics from 94 to 97, don't know if there's any reasonable way to make this worth. I'd pass.

What kind of major changes are we talkin. Computer replacement? Wiring harness? Please let me know
