Nissan Navigation system product support by Zenrin USA (Nissan's nav software supplier)?

Re Nissan Navigation system. After only a few years of product support Zenrin USA (Nissan's nav software supplier) discontinued CD software support (having switched to DVD's in 2005). Nissan doesn't seem to care one way or the other and Zenrin says they will come out with a updated CD only if Nissan requests it. Is there anyone out there who has a nav CD that will work in the earlier Nissan (CD) Nav Systems? As it is, the system I paid dearly for is of little value now.

They have updated the CD annually. Checkout the following website

for details about the updates.

No, that is wrong. If you go to the Zenrin link you can still buy the CD but it was last updated in 2005 (at least for my I30t).
