    They sell an Ecotec oil socket at most auto parts stores. It's around $12 at my local store. If you can't find it locally, this one works perfect on the 2.2, 2.4 and 2.0T Ecotoec engines. Put the socket on the cap first, then put the extension into the socket.

    Make sure to drain the oil first before you open the canister!
